South Ethiopia Community members living in United States (US) are to build a trade center worth 127 million Birr in Hawasa town.
Representatives of the Community members and government officials on Thursday held a panel discussion in ERTA studio on ways of advancing development participation for Ethiopian diaspora. On the discussions, South Ethiopia Community President in US, Abbas Hussien said members of the Community have finalized preparations to build the trade center in Hawasa town. He said the Community is receiving the necessary support from the government, in an organized activity about 200 members are undertaking to be part of the ongoing development endeavors at home. Government officials participated in the discussions stated efforts made by the government to boost development participation of Ethiopian diaspora.
